December 2020: Q&A with Tiffany James

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – As 2020 comes to a close, we begin highlighting employees at Supreme Fixture Company, Inc. through a monthly question & answer segment. First up, Tiffany James. Tiffany joined SFC Dec. 16, 2019.

During your time away from work, what do you do?

A: I am usually reading. I enjoy just sitting comfy and losing myself in a book. When I’m not reading, I enjoy writing short stories that range from comedic to horror, although I do prefer reading and writing horror immensely. Suspense is also a genre that is fun to write and to read, I enjoy twist endings.

What are your favorite books and explain your reasoning?

A: “The Stolen Child” by Keith Donohue, a story about a changeling and the child he replaced. It’s very moving and makes you think about the ‘what ifs’ and reminds me that I shouldn’t judge a book by it’s cover.

“Jane Eyre” by Charlotte Bronte has been a favorite of mine since high school and I read it at least twice a year, I’ve had to replace my copy many times (LOL). It’s a Gothic tale of romance and just a little horror to keep you on the edge of your seat.

I absolutely love the entire “Harry Potter” series because it’s just nice to lose yourself in a different type of world. I reread them as often as I can and am currently on “The Prisoner of Azkaban” which is my personal favorite of the series. I love Neville Longbottom, he is, in my opinion the best character that isn’t one of the mains.

If you could, what would you change about your life?

A: There isn’t really much I would change about my life. I really enjoy where I am now in my life just in general. I look forward to every day and that’s not something I’ve always experienced. It’s nice to sit back and enjoy the ride!
